About You

Zipongo is looking for a Product Marketing superstar to play a key role in shaping our products and messaging.  As our first Product Marketing hire, the successful candidate will wear two critical hats for our team.  First, you will help inform the product development process by providing competitive, customer and consumer insights. Second, you will drive key product output, including product messaging, bundling and pricing strategy, sales enablement and launch marketing. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this critical role will be a key hub between product, marketing, and sales and be the internal expert on our end user and our enterprise clients.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead our product messaging efforts, owning communication of the value proposition and disseminating it across the organization.
  • Develop and execute launch plans for new products and services, working closely with product management, customer success and sales.
  • Own communication of the value proposition to the sales organization and develop the tools and collateral that help the sales teams in all phases of the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product leadership to drive the strategy and messaging behind our pricing and service bundles.
  • Be the expert on our buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how to win against them.
  • Develop consumer insights that inform future product and feature improvements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of technology or healthcare product marketing experience
  • Proven track record of success in a technology or healthcare setting with product messaging,  launch and sales enablement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Strong analytical skills; demonstrated capabilities executing end-to-end quantitative and qualitative customer research and effectively identifying and interpreting key findings
  • BA or BS degree, and preferably a top-tier MBA.
